Dr. Robinson has been more than welcoming and insightful. I feel very confident for someone who is transitioning into a new discipline to start my career. Her success in science is definitely an inspiration to my ambitions as an African American in the STEM field.

When I came to know Dr. Robinson, I was at a low point in my academic career. I was at a point where I was contemplating leaving academia altogether. Through Dr Robinson’s support, advice, encouragement and being a resource of information, she has helped me to get back on the PhD track and walk into my destiny! She is truly an amazing person and I am grateful that she has become my academic mentor!
